I’ve noticed a change in my habits. It’s only a small change but a change none-the-less.

Today whilst working on writing web copy for a client, I noticed that I seemed to be charging through much more copy than usual.

This shouldn’t really surprise me as my previous habit would see me writing a paragraph or two of copy, then checking the news, writing some copy then checking Facebook etc etc.

This would invariably end up with me having an unproductive day. Then I would feel guilty about that and would escape the guilt by grabbing my mobile to disengage, thus feeding the whole cycle over and over.

I’m looking forward to getting off the hamster wheel of mobile device addiction and getting a big chunk of my life, my workday and my pride back.
