Today I started Yoga classes again. I’ve had a 6 month break from them and after today I’ve realised just how good it is to clear my mind and make myself become aware and present.

I think that’s a big part in kicking a bad habit or addiction, being present and aware.

Instead of mindlessly grabbing my mobile phone to get a fix, these past few days I’ve tried to be present and aware of my habits.

I’ve been trying to exercise regularly and meditate a few times a week also. I figure this is better for me than spending countless hours watching or reading mind numbing crap on social media!

I’m finding the process of using alternatives much easier now than when I first started on this journey just over a week ago. Perhaps I’m starting to form new habits?
